Remove the bulkhead you have on top of your upper cabinets. Use the space as much as you can. There are a lot of option even if you have any pipe or vent going on in the bulkhead.
Try to put the stove in the centre. Equal space on the both sides of the stove looks alot better.
Have a spice rack on one side or both sides of your stove. It depends how much you live to cook, how many small bottles of spices you want to put in your kitchen. It is very helpful in the cooking if you have some place to put these spice boxes just beside the stove.
Get a nice size bank of drawer near the stove. After spice rack you should have the most usefull drawer bank where you put all you cutlery. You can have organiser in the top drawer to organise the cutlery.
Try to fit a double or 4 piece garbage bin near the sink. A sealed garbage bin is must in the kitchen.
A tall pantry is a good idea if you don't have a space for walkin pantry. Divide the pantry in 3 parts. Top part should be align with your wall cabinets, bottom with base cabinets and middle with the space between wall and base cabinets. The upper and bottom can be used for the storage and the middle section can have a coffee platform. You can place a coffee maker in it with a roll out tray.
A builtin microwave and a builtin oven are good upgrades in your kitchen. Having a builtin appliances clears up most of the counter space in your kitchen.
